Terms of Service (AGB)
Status: February 2026
1. Scope of Service
Runabot ("the Provider") provides the user with a web-based platform that allows access to persistent container environments ("Bot Containers"). The service includes: 1. Provisioning of isolated Linux container environments with persistent storage. 2. Access to these environments via a web terminal, SSH, and API interfaces. 3. The ability to install and execute software (e.g., AI assistants like OpenClaw) within the allocated resources.
The Provider does not guarantee 100% availability and reserves the right to perform maintenance work, which may lead to temporary outages.
2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Use of the services is subject to strict limitations to ensure legal compliance and platform security. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- File Sharing & P2P: Operation of file-sharing services, BitTorrent clients (both leeching and seeding), and any Peer-to-Peer (P2P) protocols for distributing copyrighted content.
- Crypto Mining: Using computing power for mining cryptocurrencies.
- Network Attacks: Conducting DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks, port scanning, or other network attacks.
- Copyright Infringement: Any storage, distribution, or reproduction of content that violates German or EU copyright laws.
In the event of a violation of these policies, the Provider is entitled to immediately suspend access (see Section 6).
3. Indemnification
The user is solely responsible for the content they store, process, or distribute in the provided containers. The user agrees to indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from all third-party claims (including copyright holders, authorities, or other third parties) resulting from the user's unlawful use of the services. This includes the costs of reasonable legal defense.
4. Data Logging
To comply with legal obligations (esp. TMG and UrhDaG) and to investigate legal violations, the Provider stores certain connection data. 1. IP Assignment: Logs are maintained documenting which IP address was assigned to which user account at what time. 2. Timestamps: Access times are logged.
This data is treated confidentially and is only disclosed to law enforcement authorities or rights holders upon court order or in the presence of a legitimate legal claim for information.
5. Notice and Takedown
Rights holders who identify a copyright infringement by a user of our services can report this directly to our Abuse Department. Please send a substantiated report to: Email: abuse@runabot.de
Upon receipt of a valid complaint, the Provider will act immediately to investigate the matter and, if necessary, block access to the affected content ("Notice and Takedown").
6. Termination
The Provider reserves the right, upon becoming aware of violations of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP): 1. To stop individual or all container instances of the user immediately and without prior warning. 2. To temporarily or permanently ban the user account. 3. To prevent the execution of new containers.
In the event of a suspension due to an AUP violation, the user retains the right to download a backup of their data, provided that the release of the data does not itself violate applicable law (e.g., in the case of child pornography or malware distribution). No refund of fees already paid will be made in the event of a suspension due to an AUP violation.
